Arrive Alive Guarantee
At Emerald Coast Corals, great care goes into packing your new Wet Pets. Our arrive alive policy is only good if your ship UPS. When your new Wet Pet leaves our controlled environment they are out of our hands, we have no control over what happens next. You can help by adding shipping insurance to your order; it is very inexpensive relative to the cost of your new Pet. In the unlikely event that an animal should perish in transit or after arrival, we offer a five day Arrive Alive Guarantee. If your new Wet Pet does not arrive alive or if it dies within five days of leaving our facility, Emerald Coast Corals will issue a store credit for the purchase cost of the specimen; shipping and handling charges do not apply. Store credits will remain on file for one year after the purchase date. We are not responsible for damages, miss directed or late packages due to shipping, shipping insurance will cover this. If your box arrives damaged, have the carrier note it for you, ALL D.O.A'S must be reported within 2 hours, along with a clear digital picture of the dead coral, fish or invertebrate, in the unopened bag, and a clear digital picture of the shipping box. We do not pay to have any replacement item shipped! When your new Pets are delivered, you must be able to receive the package, NO EXCEPTIONS! These are live animals.
Please do not turn away any package based on the condition of the box, NO MATTER WHAT! Most Wet Pets will still be alive even in the case of a rare water leak. As soon as your new Wet Pet arrives, follow our acclimation guide as soon as possible, do not leave the box outside for any reason! All Wet Pets will be shipped with signature release, unless otherwise specified.
Restricted Species
Many animals are considered extremely difficult to ship or care for and require an experienced hobbyist or expert care. These animals are excluded from the guarantee and are noted as "Restricted Species" on the specimen's item description. Although we have done our best to include all of the animals on this list, please be aware that any specimen marked with "Restricted Species" on the item description detail, which may or may not be included on this list, we do not accept any responsibility if any of these animals poisons your aquarium.
